Landforms Inc. is responsible for the maintenance of plants from the planting process until the installation of plants in any one area is complete. You assume responsibility for the maintenance and care of plants in each completed area of your landscape (for example, we complete the front yard on Friday, return to start the backyard on Monday, and care of the new plants in the front yard over the weekend are your responsibility.) You must water and maintain plants properly. Landforms Inc. must be notified of declining plants before the complete loss to honor this warranty. Turf watering, fertilization, and weed control are the homeowner's responsibility. Landforms Inc. or its affiliates will install the Seed /Hydroseed /Sod on top of a prepared surface. After the seed comes in, Landforms Inc. will inspect for excessive weed germination. Turf should be watered three times per week more in times of drought. A fertilization application must be completed in the fall. Then we recommend a 5 step fertilization program for the next two years. There is no warranty on transplanted plant material or plant material not purchased by Landforms Inc.
Warranties
Plantings—Landforms Inc. provides a one-year warranty on plantings. If you decide to contract Landforms Inc. to provide landscape maintenance services, the warranty will be extended to two years. Unless otherwise specified. However, this warranty does not apply to plantings which fail to thrive due to improper watering and/or maintenance by the customer, deer damage, transplanted plant material, annuals or plant material not purchased by Landforms Inc. Since healthy is so subjective to proper care there is no warranty on turf installation after the germination period.
